General terms of sale
Made in Carrara is a distinctive mark of Stonest srl, whose seat is in Viale G. Galilei, 32 - 54031 Carrara (MS) Italy, registered in the “Registro Imprese” of Massa Carrara - Italy, P.Iva 00714070455.
Stonest srl is the owner of the Site www.madeincarrara.com.

The items displayed in the virtual catalogue of the Web Site www.madeincarrara.com will be purchased on the following terms.

Acceptance of the order/Conclusion of the contract
The purchase of the required products will perfect through the following stages:

  1. Placing the order, the customer comunicate to Stonest srl the proposal of purchasing the selected product/s. The sending of the order implies the consent (in conformity with art. 10 DL 185/1999) to receive from Stonest srl the following communications, finalized exclusively to the performing and conclusion of the sale contract.
  2. Stonest srl reserves the unbojectionable faculty to accept the customer’s proposal of purchase.
  3. Available products - Stonest srl will check the effective availability of the required goods in stock; the customer will visualize it in the special area reserved to the purchase. The chance to buy an item on-line modifies simultaneously the availability of the products: for this reason Stonest srl does not guarantee the awarding of the ordered goods, untill the order itself will be visible in the special area (tracking order).
  4. Unavailable or not yet in stock products - Stonest srl gives the chance to order unvailable or not yet in stock at the moment products, engaging to submit the order to its suppliers. In this case Stonest srl will accept the order, displaying the estimated time of availability of the product and asking a term of 24 hours to confirm the acceptance of this information. If, on the decided date for the availability the products will not be available, each party has the right to recede from the order only for the unvailable products, unless it is possibile to decide for another term of delivery (even in this case, accordino to the times of availability estimated by the supplier).
  5. At the moment the availability of the products will be checked, you will receive an e-mail of confirmation and the shipping costs proper to the ordered item, to the town/country of destination and to the shipping methods.
    ATTENTION. The order will be cancelled if both the parties do not agree upon the shipping modalities.
  6. Stonest srl will provide to deliver the required goods to the express delivery, which will dispatch it to the address written in the order. The customer will pay according to the modalities of payment he/she chose on-line during the order.

VAT
The VAT (Value Added Tax) will be applied with a 20% rate for all the orders issued by private customer and/or societies coming from countries members of the European Community. The orders issued by customers not living in EEC are free from VAT.

ATTENTION: Our system of electronic commerce applies VAT automatically to pre-ordered articles. For our customers not living in European Community, VAT will be removed after the receipt of the order.

Payment modality
During the order it is possible to choose the payment method you prefer:

Bank Transfer Payment

  • When the availability of the goods will be checked, yuo will receive an e-mail containing our bank transfer data. We will not book the goods until we will receive a copy of the payment.
  • As soon as we will recive the payment confirmation (Bank transfer copy via Fax o via e-mail containig the CRO number), we will book the goods and dispatch them as soon as our Bank will confirm the successfull payment.
    ATTENTION: because of the authomatized management, every fax cointaining a bank transfer lacking of essential elements will cause delays in the dispatching and delivery of the goods.

Credit Card Payment

  • If the transaction is successful, the ordered goods, if available, will be booked and sent only after a preventive check on the customer’s data.
  • In the event of an ordered product being unavailable, the sum will be charged only when the goods will be available again and sent to the customer.
    ATTENTION: Stonest srl, in defence of the Credit card holder, reserves to ask by phone, in its unobjectionable opinion,a confirmation of the card data, or to ask for a further documentation, sent by mail or fax, which must show without any doubts the identityt of the holder of the card used for the transaction. Stonest srl reserves, in its unobjectionable opinion, to accept, refuse or dispatch the order after the time necessary for this check.

ATTENTION: The order is processed only when all the required products are available. It is not possible to dispatch partially the goods.

The delivery will follow the modalities described by the option chose by the customer. Stonest srl reserves, before dispatching the goods, the right to ask information useful to verify the authenticity and the congruence of the shipping data written in the order.

Cancellation of the order
The order can be cancelled within 24 hours from its insertion. To communicate it, phone to the number +39 0585 855263 or write an e-mail to info@madeincarrara.com (the date of sending attests it). After this term Stonest srl reserves the right to accept the cancellation of the order.The faculty of cancellation of the order is barred to the customer, if the supplier, to which Stonest srl ordered expressly the goods, do not accept the cancellation or if the goods have been reserved in stock and the communication of the order cancellation has not arrived within 24 hours.

Checking the goods upon arrival
On delivery of the goods, please check:

  • The number of the items corresponds with the one displayed in the accompaining documents.
  • The identity and the quality of the products, eventually displayed on the packaging, corresponds with the ones written on the bill.
  • The packaging is not damaged, wet or altered, but in good condition.
  • The bill, contained in the appropriate envelope applied on the external part of an item or delivered by the parcel service, must be conserved.
  • The non-correspondence of the number of items, eventual damages or the loss must be immediately contested. All our dispatches travel in insured modality.
  • In case of non-congruence of the goods, all the costs for the replacement/substitution will be charged to Stonest srl.

Exemption of Responsibilities
Stonest srl will be not rensponsible of the use of the purchased products, of the damages derived from the loss of data or delays of delivery. After the term of guarancy the product will not be repaired or replaced; if the problem will occur during the guarancy term, Stonest srl shall, in its unobjectivationable opinion, replace the item with a different one with similar or superior technical features.

Applicable law
All the contracts brought off with our firm are perfected in Italy and respond to the laws of the Italian Republic. The place of jurisdiction for each controversies is the law-court of Massa Carrara (MS) Italy.
