Dear Customer, each item you bought on madincarrara.com is dispatched - in free port- by express delivery and is insured against damages and defaults.

To obtain easily and quickly your repaiment in case of damages and so on, please follow these easy rules when you receive your goods.

What to do before signing up the transport document (when the carrier is still present)

  • Check the number of items you have received: it must be the same written on the transport document (or the consignment note)
  • Check the labels applied on the items: they must carry your name and address
  • Check the outer state of the item: it must not be damaged or altered (e.g. not original or damaged packaging).

In case, after the controls, you find some anomalies, sign the transport document (or carriage note) writing the word “RISERVA” (reservation) and specifying the kind of anomaly you found (e.g. reservation for two lacking items- reservation for damaged packaging).
ATTENTION: affixing your reservation is a right sanctioned by the civil code (art. n° 1698).
Then follow the instructions under the heading “how to notify to madeincarrara.com the anomaly you found”.

What to do within 8 days from the delivery of the material

  • Check the codes and the quantity of material you have received: they must be the same written on the transport document (consignment note).
  • Check the state of the material: it must not be damaged or altered.

In case of anomalies please follow the instruction displayed under the heading “how to notify to madeincarrara.com the anomalies you found.
Attenzione: as specified in the civil code (art.1698) you must verify the state of the goods within 8 days from the delivery.

How to notify to madeincarrara.com the anomalies you found

DAMAGED ITEMS
If you accepted the package with reservation, describing the esternal damages and it has been delivered by our express carrier in free port, please notify it to Stonest srl (via e-mail or fax) writing the invoice number, describing the kind of damage and sending the consignment note (or the transport documents) signed with reservation for the faulty goods.

After a verification with the carrier, Stonest srl will communicate the return number (RMA) of the damaged material.
Upon the return of the material to our warehouse, the substitutive good will be dispatched to you..

MISSING ITEMS
If you accepted the package with reservation for missing items and it has been delivered by our express carrier in free port, please notify it to Stonest srl (via e-mail or fax) writing the invoice number, describing the kind of damage and sending the consignment note (or the transport documents) signed with reservation for the missing goods.

After a verification with the carrier, Stonest srl will send the missing goods to integrate your order.

INVERSION OF THE CODES
Within 8 days from the arrival of the goods, please contact Stonest srl, notifying the event and communicating all the necessary information (invoice or consignment note number, code and quantity of the missing item, eventual additional notes).

After an inventory verification in its warehouse, Stonest srl will notify to you a RMA number to return the wrong goods and subsequently you will receive your right order.

HIDDEN DAMAGES
If you find a fault in the material inside an undamaged package and the item has been delivered by our express carrier in free port, please notify the anomaly to Stonest srl (via fax or e-mail) and send, within -and not after- 8 days from the arrival of the goods (we will check the date on the envelope), a registered letter including the following information:

  • All the data of the dispatching: n° of transport document, date of the document, code of the faulty goods, faulty quantity.
  • The description of the item upon arrival and of the damage you found.
  • A statement as “the goods are at disposal of insurance appraisals”.

After a verification with the carrier, Stonest srl will notify to you athe return number (RMA) of the faulty goods and subsequently you will receive the substitutive material.

We will not accept transport anomalies after 8 days from the arrival of the goods.
